LensGuard is a privacy-first, local-first iPhone app from AK Davis Designs. It looks for nearby AI glasses using Bluetooth manufacturer IDs while the app is open on screen.

Honest RSSI-ring and list, not a fake radar. No Location, no accounts, no cloud, no ads, no analytics.

What LensGuard is

A convenience tool for noticing nearby devices. It is not proof of recording.

How detection works

  • Bluetooth manufacturer IDs on the iPhone
  • Scanning runs in the foreground only
  • Keep watching is foreground-only, not a screen-off background scan
  • Results stay on your device

Honesty

LensGuard is not proof that someone is recording. A camera’s LED is the recording indicator. Silence in LensGuard does not mean you are safe.

Foreground BLE scan with an honest RSSI-ring and a device list—not a fake radar.

Trusted list

Keep a Trusted list on the device so known devices are easier to recognize.

On-device history

History stays on your iPhone. There is no LensGuard cloud or account.

Headphone tick

Optional headphone tick is off by default. If you enable it, it plays on your device.

Apple Watch companion

Watch shows status and can haptic. The Watch does not scan Bluetooth.

Paid extras

Widgets and Control Center High-alerts snooze are part of the one-time unlock.

Privacy-first

This version does not use Location. AK Davis Designs does not run a LensGuard cloud backend.

No Location

This iOS v1 does not request Location permission.
