It does not prove that someone is recording. A camera’s recording LED is the indicator that a camera is active. Silence in LensGuard does not mean you are safe.

LensGuard is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind.

The app
LensGuard is a local-first iOS app from AK Davis Designs. It can look for nearby Bluetooth devices while it is open on your iPhone. It is a convenience tool. It is not a professional security, surveillance, or forensics product.
License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use LensGuard on Apple devices you own or control, consistent with Apple’s App Store terms. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or redistribute the app except as allowed by law.
Not a guarantee and not proof of recording
LensGuard does not guarantee that you will detect every nearby device, camera, or recorder. It does not prove that someone is recording. It does not prove that you are safe.
A camera’s recording LED is the indicator that a camera is active. Silence in LensGuard does not mean you are safe.
“Keep watching” is not a screen-off or always-on background watch. This version does not use Location permission. The Apple Watch companion does not scan Bluetooth.
You are responsible for how you use the app and for following the law. Do not use LensGuard to harass, stalk, or violate anyone’s privacy or other rights.
As is
LensGuard is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Bluetooth conditions, iOS behavior, other devices, and the environment can affect results. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
To the maximum extent allowed by law, AK Davis Designs is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or any claimed loss of privacy or safety, arising from your use of LensGuard. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the LensGuard unlock (if any) in the twelve months before the claim.
Some places do not allow certain warranty disclaimers or liability limits. If those rules apply to you, some of the above may not apply, and you may have additional rights.
In-app purchase
Optional features (haptics, High notifications, widgets, and Control Center snooze) are available as a $1.99 one-time unlock through Apple. Apple processes the payment. The price shown in the app may vary by region. Purchases, refunds, and restore are handled under Apple’s terms. We do not issue refunds ourselves. Request those through Apple.
Your data
History, Trusted list, and similar information live on your devices. We do not host a LensGuard account or cloud backup. You are responsible for your device. Delete the app if you want that on-device data removed.

Intellectual property
LensGuard, its name, and its design are owned by AK Davis Designs. These terms do not transfer ownership.
Changes and stopping use
We may update the app or these terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms. We may stop offering LensGuard. You may stop using it at any time by deleting the app.
